Here are several recipes that you can use as natural beauty treatments to soften the skin while having a relaxing bath.
Skin Softening Baths
Ginseng Bath
Prepare three ginseng tea bags in a teapot and add to bathwater. Ginseng helps soften, tone and refine skin. It is also a good ally against aging.
Oatmeal Bath
Mix three cups of uncooked oats with two cups of wheat bran and 1/4 cup Aloe Vera gel. Place everything in a cheesecloth or panty hose. Place it under the faucet while the tub is filling. Then, massage your body with the cheesecloth or panty hose bundle while relaxing in the tub.
Gelatin Bath
Add a package of gelatin to warm bath water and stay in the tub for 15 minutes.
Natural Bath Scrub
It is very important to keep your skin well exfoliated so that it looks healthy and shiny. This recipe is very easy. Just add a packet of milk powder to bath water. Lactic acid removes dead skin cells and leaves skin baby soft.
Natural Bath to Lift Your Spirits
If you want to improve your mood try one of these recipes.
Add 1/4 cup pure vanilla extract to hot tub water. Vanilla is very invigorating.
Another treatment you can try is to place a handful of pine needles in a panty hose and place it under the faucet while filling the tub.
Detoxifying Bath
To help rid skin of toxins add 1/2 pound sea salt and a pound of baking soda in the hot tub water. Stay in the water until cool.
