Plant fats – It is recommended that the fats diabetics eat in their diet come mostly from vegetables such as dried fruits.

Milk thistle – This herb is very effective to lower blood sugar levels. The capsules can be found in the vitamin aisle of most stores.

Nettle root infusion – 1 bunch of nettle root, 1/2 liter of water. Bring the nettle root to a boil and simmer for a few minutes. Remove from heat and strain. Drink while it is still hot.

Eucalyptus – Put 3 tender eucalyptus leaves in 1/2 liter of water and boil for five minutes. Take three cups a day alternating with a few cups of cinnamon tea.

Cod Liver Oil - Take two or three tablespoons of cod liver oil before breakfast.

Rosemary and white wine – Drink a glass of white wine with a hint of rosemary powder before breakfast every day.

Liquid nopal and chaya – Put the two ingredients in a blender with water and liquify. Drink.

White tea – Drinking white tea may lower blood sugar levels.
