To combat athlete’s foot:
Water with salt – Add eight teaspoons salt to a quart of warm water. Soak feet in this solution. Fungi do not like salt.
Baking soda – Add a little water to one tablespoon of baking soda so that it turns to a paste. Apply between toes and throughout the affected area. Wash and dry the area.
Leave your shoes out in the sun - Leave your shoes outdoors for a few minutes every day.
Tea tree oil – Mix equal parts of olive oil and tea tree oil and apply on the affected area twice a day.
Essential oil of lavender – Rub feet with lavender oil.
Canned pineapple and cornstarch – Pour the contents of a can of pineapple in a container and soak in your feet for an hour. Dry and apply cornstarch. Repeat everyday until you get the desired results.
To combat vaginal fungal infections:
To relieve itching and discomfort – Add colloidal oatmeal to the water when taking a tub bath.
Yogurt – Eat plenty of yogurt to prevent vaginal infections.
Echinacea tea – Drink a couple of cups of echinacea tea daily.
Hydrogen peroxide – A vaginal wash with hydrogen peroxide 3% relieves yeast infections. Use a sterile 30cc syringe, fill it up with hydrogen peroxide, make sure there are no air bubbles in the syringe. Gently insert it in the vagina and slowly push the liquid inside. If the vaginal tissues are very irritated dilute the peroxide in 3 times the amount of water the first time you use it. Gradually increase the aount of peroxide until you are using it full strength.
Drug store creams – There are several creams sold in the pharmacy that heal vaginal infections, and you do not need a doctor’s prescription for them. Look for a cream containing clotrimazole.
Comfrey tea - Make a comfrey tea using two bags. Put the solution in a spray bottle and apply when you use the restroom. This does not cure the infection but relieves burning.
To combat nail fungus:
Garlic - Boil 5 garlic cloves in a cup of water. Put the water with the garlic in a foot bath and wait a few minutes so that the water is not too hot. Soak feet for 15 minutes. home-remedies-site.com Repeat for 4 weeks or until you see improvement.
More garlic - Add 1 clove garlic finely chopped, 5 drops of lemon, and 5 drops of white iodine to a bottle of nail gloss. Let stand for 2 weeks. Shake well and apply a coat to the nails for 15 days in a row. On the 16th day remove the enamel. The next day, repeat the process, and so on until the fungus disappears.
Apple cider vinegar – Soak your feet in a solution of 1 liter warm water and 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar. Or apply directly to the nail using a brush until the nail grows out.
White vinegar – Apply directly to the affected area.
Tea tree oil - Apply tea tree essential oil directly to the infected toenail.
Vick’s vapor rub - Wash your feet, dry them, and smear Vick’s vapor rub on the infected nails twice a day.
