The headache caused by tension results from the contraction of muscles in the head and neck. Other causes for headaches are emotional, because of hormonal changes, or exhaustion.
Chamomile tea – 1 handful of chamomile grain and 1/2 liter of water. Put chamomile in boiling water and remove from heat. Wait a few minutes and strain. Add a few drops of lemon and drink.
Ice bag – Put some ice cubes in a bag and tie it. Put the bag on your head, lie down and relax.
Cold chamomile - Make a chamomile tea and put some ice cubes in it. Dampen a cloth in the cold chamomile infusion and put it on the eyelids.
Lavender essential oil - Massage the base of the skull, the temples, and behind your ears using two drops of lavender oil.
Hydrotherapy – Soak a towel in hot water and wring out. Place on the nape of your neck for two minutes. Repeat with a towel soaked and wrung out in cold water. Repeat procedure for 15 minutes.

Artichoke – If you suffer from headaches, a good remedy is to add artichokes to your diet. The artichoke is very good for the liver which is where headaches often come from.
Foot bath – 1 teaspoon of mustard, 1 cup of water, 2 handfuls of sea salt. Dissolve salt and mustard in hot water. Put in a big bowl or tub and soak your feet. For best results, switch between a container with cold water and the one with the hot water. This will improve circulation and relieve the headache.

For migraine:
Ginger – When the migraine is just starting, take 1 or 2g fresh ginger powder.
