Raspberry leaf tea may be beneficial during the third trimester of pregnancy because it strengthens the pelvis and uterus muscles. It is also believed that this tea could facilitate and hasten labor and reduce complications.

A study in Australia found that women who drank raspberry leaf tea during the third trimester of pregnancy had a shorter delivery and a minor rate of complications.

This tea is not recommended during the first months of pregnancy, though. If you are expecting a baby and would like to try this tea, consult your doctor first.

Another common use of raspberry tea leaves is to relieve premenstrual symptoms and regulate menstruation. It is also used to lower blood sugar levels, so it is beneficial for people with diabetes. However, you must be careful with the amount you drink because it can make blood sugar levels lower than they’re supposed to be.

Other Uses of Raspberry Leaf Tea Are:

  • As a mouthwash to alleviate sores in the mouth
